A
"white hot...burst of a show"
"...ridiculously funny, but its main goal is not to entertain. It tackles Big Personal Ideas
without wrapping itself in layers of airless abstraction and without becoming some giant puppet-based selfie."
"A captivating show, and every single part of it works to get us to the final scene, and for that we should be grateful." "
"There is magic and wonder in the world, and not the cheap kind from childhood fairy tales,
but the hard earned kind from adults who speak in their own true voices and dare to tell us how we’re all put together."

Jug-Baby: An Autobiography
A one-woman puppet show by C. Kennedy, with music by Upholstery
& animations by Sean Macphee and Nora Humpage.
Presented as part of the 2014 New Orleans Fringe Festival!
Originally presented as part of the 2013 SoLow Festival
Unsure of how they will be able to feed their unexpected child, Mother and Father do the only logical thing they can think of: they place their newborn baby in a jug in order to mold it into something they can sell to a circus. When Jug-Baby finally emerges, it has no gender or identity to call its own, and soon realizes that others can mold it into whatever they desire. Join Jug-Baby on a whimsical journey of sexuality and self-discovery
featuring puppets, animation and live music, as it learns to find its own identity that remains buried underneath the expectations and desires of others.
Jug-Baby: An Autobiography returns!
We're very excited to announce that Jug-Baby
